Episode 1: On the 7th January 2026 Brighton Artist Barrie J Davies visited me in my old art studio to talk about his art.

Barrie J Davies is a fun street pop artist, who creates crazy, vibrant, wild & weird art pieces that don’t give a damn!

‘Really excited to finally share this. I had the absolute pleasure of taking part in Beav-Art Talks and I’m genuinely buzzing about it. We chatted all things art, creativity, process, chaos (obviously), and the very real ups and downs of making work and putting it out into the world. It was one of those conversations that felt relaxed, honest, and properly enjoyable — the best kind. Beav‑Art is the artistic alias of Brighton based artist Ian Leaver‑Blaxstone, known for his vivid, bold imagery that mixes fragments of the modern world with elements of vintage B‑movies, mythology, folklore, and sci‑fi themes.
