On the 5th April 2026 I sat down with the artist Ellie Pompili to talk about what drives her work. We had an honest conversation about art, process, and life in the creative city.

Ellie is an Italian multidisciplinary artist based between Brighton and London, working across photography, writing, and education. Rooted in self-portraiture and collaboration. Her practice explores the female body as both subject and agent of vision, questioning how gaze, vulnerability, and control intersect in acts of looking.
