Ban-antula

Collaborative piece by Beav-Art & Barrie J Davies

From the streets where their Brighton Laboratory’s sit. Two offbeat mad scientists….[erm! Artists] Barrie J Davies a self proclaimed master of colourful chaos and Beav-Art, a visionary of the absurd, had a plan to create the ultimate fusion of life & lunch.

Their grand idea? A creature so bizarre, so improbable, that it could only exist in the realm of their wildest imaginations.

With a zap of electricity, googly eyes, a tarantula, as many bananas as they could find and a puff of glitter (because what’s a science experiment without a little sparkle?), the creation was born.

“Ah, it’s alive!” Beav-Art exclaimed, his voice a mix of awe and trepidation.

“Awwww,” Barrie replied, though whether it was out of affection or sheer terror, even he wasn’t sure.

As the creature explored its surroundings, leaving a trail of squished paint tubes and overturned canvases in its wake, the two creators couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of it all.

And so, in the heart of Brighton, where creativity knew no bounds and the impossible became reality with each stroke of a paintbrush or splat of glue, the legend of…….the Ban-antula was born. A creature like no other, a testament to the power of imagination, and a reminder that sometimes, the strangest ideas are the ones worth pursuing.

But as for what became of the Ban-antula after its fateful creation? Well, that’s a story for another day.
