Bespoke B-movie pet portrait of Bates the cat.

My client wanted their cat painted in an old school 1950s style sci-fi way, like ‘Attack of the 50ft Woman’. They were also really into the old Godzilla classic films, so making their cat Bates a giant was definitely the way to go with this painting. As Bates was going to be big, I felt it only fitting to have a title that suited like the Great Gatsby. Which is how I came about with the title ‘The Great Bates Of Brighton’. This painting along with all my commissioned B-Movie Pet Portraits, was painted on an A4 sized canvas.
