On the 20 July 2026 Beav caught up via video call, with London based, Contemporary Land Artist Leo, to talk about his creative process.
This year Leo was the resident artist in Brighton for the East Brighton ‘Our Place’ Festival. Which was in association with Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival. This event in the community, originally started with Kae Tempest, who wanted to bring the arts to local communities. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event, which happened in May 2026.
Beav & the rest of the ‘Our Place’ steering group worked with Leo to help bring his unique, creative, artistic, creations and empowering words in nature to the East Brighton Community, through art workshops, where they learnt the techniques Leo uses in his practice.
