On the 22nd June 2026 Fine Art & Performance Artist Helena Bryant-Taylor visited Beav’s art studio to talk about her creative process.
I met Helena at one of the many art meetings I’ve attended in Brighton over the years. We worked on a project together for ‘Same Sky’ as part of the University of Brighton medical research project ‘1 size fits 1’, running a puppet workshop at Phoenix Arts Centre in Brighton.
Since then Helena Left Same Sky and started to focus on her own art practice. She has been in her laboratory conjuring up her new solo performance art show called Franken Mama. You’re not going to want to miss this episode or show starting soon at the fishing quarter gallery on Brighton sea front on 30th June.
With a Private View show on Friday 3rd July 2026
Opens at 7pm – live performance at 8pm till late.
Do yourself and me a favour, listen to the episode and subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss out on any future episodes.
Beav‑Art is the artistic alias of Brighton based Artist Ian Leaver‑Blaxstone, known for his vivid, bold imagery that mixes fragments of the modern world with elements of vintage B‑movies, mythology, folklore, and sci‑fi themes.
