On the 21st June 2026 Tattooist & Artist Ally Gardiner visited Beav’s art studio to talk about her creative process.
I was lucky enough to be in the same Artists Open House with Ally as part of The Flying Circus exhibition at the Unitarian church in Brighton on New Road. She’s a self taught artist, using the mediums of Oil, Acrylic & more. Her paintings gave me the old ‘Garbage Pail Kids’ vibe & the attention to detail was awesome to see.
Not only is she a talented painter, but she is also a gifted tattooist with over 20 years experience. Currently a resident tattoo artist at Blue Dragon Tattoo Brighton. So you can see why I felt she would be an excellent guest for the podcast.
